About ChimneyScout
A clearer starting point for finding chimney professionals.
Built for local searches
ChimneyScout helps homeowners explore chimney sweeps, inspectors, repair specialists, and fireplace professionals by service and location. We are starting in Greater Houston, with room to expand as documented business information becomes available.
How the directory works
Browse business profiles, compare listed services and service areas, and contact a provider directly. Service areas reflect the information available to us; a nearby office does not automatically mean a business serves your home. Confirm availability, pricing, and suitability with the provider.
For business owners
Basic listings and ownership claims are currently free. An owner or authorized representative can request a claim. We review each claim before granting access. Once approved, the owner can update most listing details directly; street-address visibility still requires confirmation. Claim approval means permission to manage a profile, not an endorsement or verification of service quality.
Independent providers
ChimneyScout is an informational directory. We do not perform chimney work, employ listed providers, or guarantee their services. Listing information can change, and we welcome factual corrections.
Who operates ChimneyScout
